A short, plain-English summary of what we collect and what we do with it. Moggle is in private beta — this policy will evolve as the product does.

What we collect

When you join the Moggle waitlist, we collect the email address you submit and (if you provide it) the description of the marketplace you'd like to build.

When you use Moggle as a creator, seller, or buyer, we collect:

• Account information (email, name, profile photo)
• Listing content you create (photos, titles, descriptions, prices)
• Transaction data (purchases, payouts, refunds)
• Usage data (pages viewed, clicks, search queries)
• Device information (browser, IP address, operating system)

How we use it

• To operate, secure, and improve the Moggle platform
• To process payments, payouts, and refunds
• To detect and prevent fraud, scams, and abuse
• To send transactional emails (order confirmations, payouts, dispute updates)
• To send waitlist updates and product announcements (you can unsubscribe at any time)

Sharing

We don't sell your personal data. We share it only with:

• Stripe, our payments processor
• Couriers, who need shipping addresses to deliver your orders
• Service providers we use to run Moggle (cloud hosting, email delivery, analytics, customer support tooling) — under data protection agreements
• Law enforcement, only when legally required

Cookies

We use cookies to keep you logged in, remember your preferences, and measure how Moggle is used. You can disable cookies in your browser settings; some features may stop working without them.

Your rights

You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time. Email jerry.neo@carousell.com with your request — we'll respond within 30 days.

Data retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we delete or anonymize your personal data within 90 days, except where we're required by law to retain transaction records longer (typically 7 years for tax compliance).
