Terms of Service
By using Moggle, you agree to these terms. Moggle is in private beta — these terms will evolve as the product does. Material changes will be communicated by email at least 30 days before they take effect.
What Moggle does
Moggle provides infrastructure for creators to host their own marketplaces — listings, payments, escrow, shipping integration, customer service tools. Creators run their marketplaces on top of this infrastructure: they decide what's sold, who can sell, and the rules of their community.
Moggle is not a party to transactions between sellers and buyers. We provide the platform; the contract for any sale is between the seller and the buyer.
Accounts
You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. You're responsible for keeping your account credentials secure. Don't impersonate others, misrepresent your identity, or share your account.
Listings & content
You're responsible for the listings, photos, descriptions, and other content you post on Moggle. By posting, you grant Moggle a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to display, distribute, and promote your content on the platform.
You may not post:
- Counterfeit goods or items that infringe trademarks or copyrights
- Items illegal to sell in the buyer's or seller's jurisdiction
- Spam, deceptive listings, or misleading descriptions
- Content that violates a marketplace's house rules
- Content that violates Moggle's community guidelines
Payments & fees
Creators: Moggle charges 0% commission on creator sales. There are no platform or subscription fees. Payouts to creators happen weekly via Stripe.
Buyers: A small fixed service fee is added at checkout. This fee funds buyer protection, escrow, and platform operations.
All transactions on Moggle pass through Stripe. By using Moggle, you also agree to Stripe's Connected Account Agreement.
Buyer protection
Every transaction is held in escrow until the buyer confirms receipt or the inspection window closes. If something goes wrong (item not as described, item not received, fraudulent listing), file a dispute through Moggle support. We review every dispute and may issue a refund — funded by the buyer-side service fee.
Marketplace house rules
Each marketplace on Moggle has its own rules set by its creator (e.g., members-only application, no fast fashion, slow shipping only). Sellers and buyers in that marketplace must follow those rules in addition to Moggle's platform-wide terms. Marketplace rules cannot override Moggle's safety baseline (anti-fraud, anti-counterfeit, anti-discrimination).
Termination
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or pose harm to the community. You can close your account at any time from your account settings. On account closure, pending transactions are honored to completion.
Limitation of liability
Moggle is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We don't guarantee uninterrupted service, error-free operation, or that any specific creator, listing, or marketplace will be available. To the fullest extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability is limited to the fees you've paid Moggle in the past 12 months.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Singapore. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Singapore.
